A fun time was ordered up and delivered, once again at Mona's Chateau. A total of 7 guests participated in the 5th Annual CND event held last week. All I can say is, "Wow am I tired!"
The only injuries reported were a skinned shin, a bee sting, assorted small mysterious bruises, and a broken "Best of Tom Jones" CD. Missing items were as follows; an attachment to an air pump and a therapeutic pillow. The pillow was located and will be returned to the rightful owner as soon as possible.
A big thank you to Mona and the staff at Mona's Chateau, for making this year's event the best ever! I'm sure all the guests would have to agree that there was no shortage of food, cocktails, games, prizes, and good cheer. I'm sure all the guests enjoyed the Chateau's interior upgrades as well as the new outdoor swimming pool. Also new at Mona's Chateau lounge was a fabulous Smoothie machine, enjoyed by guests using their extended stay package, as well as a Romantic dinner for three at Rocky Point Resort.
Next year's upgrades to the Chateau, should be a bunk house and a Tiki Bar. Get your reservations in early, as the Chateau tends to fill up quickly. ---I'm just sayin'

All I can say is that I couldn't wait to spend some quality time at the Chateau with all the fine girls. Mona, Sondi, Paula, Tallulah, Sugar, Roxi and Phoebe. Thank you for a wonderful time. I was running here, running there, swimming, eating, more running.....

I agree CND 5.0 was truly amazing! The grounds at the Chateau are beautifully manicured, the ever flowing endless cocktails to die for, especially the PYPP. Five stars to the chefs, and not to forget the servers are the bomb! Next year I will upgrade to the extended stay. I hear there will be a outdoor Tiki bar.

Thanks to everyone for their part in creating another fabulous CND! Kudos to Mona's Entertainment Troop this year in top form.
The food was divine as always- it certainly satisfied my unusually large appetite throughout the week-
so thanks again to the wonderful Chefs and Wait Staff that kept up with me!!
For next year--delightfully pleased to hear that Mona will once again be honoring all "LA Cards"- so if you have any left from this year be sure to hold on to them. (I unfortunately used all of mine).
The weather...simply gorgeous I'm just saying-
the 10 Day stretch of Hot Sun and Warm Breezes
off the Lake was incredible!

I too am looking forward to the Tiki Bar, Bunk House and

(though I have it from a reliable source) we will not be seeing the new sectional seating arrangements in the Main Hall any time soon :(

Well another fine time was had by all. The food was fab the cabbage was the best by far. The place was as neet as a pin except for the spew on the glass door. Music and dance fun as always. The new pool was a big hit. Cant wait for the Bunk House and the Tiki Bar at 6.0 All went well except for the Boom box mishap. and the missing nozzle. Thanks to Mona and her fine staff.
ReplyDeleteI was sad to hear the "sectional seating" will not be a part of Mona's updates...why pray tell? This would be a simply divine addition to the Great Room! There is more than enough space-and--well it's a practical solution! I must say LuLu has typically gotten her way in these matters and of course she always consults with her LOW Decorator team before making any big changes or purchases. Still....I don't think we should drop the idea....it just needs a little time to.......simmer--if you know what I mean???? Don't give up LuLu!
