How could you not think it was anything but strange, to be strolling down main street and notice this old dog in a store front window? It seemed so peculiar that I abruptly stopped, in order to try and understand just why this dog seemed so out of place. The front of the old building had no signage, not even a clue about what this former business had been. In the sun faded store window laid this very content looking dog,
checking out the few passers by. He sat there in the sun, on display, but clearly not for sale. Peering through the faded old curtains behind him, I squinted to gather more clues, as to make sense of this unusual sight. But the reflection from the window, and the darkness behind it prevented me from seeing just exactly was going on behind the curtains.

I don't get it about the dog. It's just a dog sitting in a store front window. He looks lonely to me. He's very cute-he needs a buddy to play with. It could have been a portrait studio? What's up with Jethro? Now there's a story there.
